Sheraton Chest on Chest - VMFA Collection

The original Sheraton Chest on Chest is part of the furniture collection of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond, Virginia. The original Chest on Chest is attributed to an early18th century English furniture maker. The original chest is made from solid mahogany with fully mortised working locks on all of the drawers. The Reproduction is also made of Solid Mahogany with Full Mortised locks on all drawers. The elegant round ring drawer pulls are made of solid cast brass. Each drawer had a brass keyhole. All of the drawers on the chest have hand-applied beading to each drawer front. The beautiful chest on chest would be a special addition to any room in the home.
