Our Acorn Bed features distinctive acorn turnings atop the posts with classic proportions and a simple, traditional profile. This 3" post version offers a graceful mid-post design that works well in a variety of bedroom settings.

Construction

Mortise-and-tenon joinery with 8-way bolted construction and steel bed slats for exceptional strength and easy disassembly for moving.

Post Width

Posts are crafted from 16/4 solid hardwood and dressed to a 2¾" square.

Post Height

Head posts are crafted from one piece of solid wood, with an overall height of 56½".

Foot Post Options

Foot posts are crafted from one piece of solid wood, available in either 37" (short) or 51 1/4 " (tall) heights.

Headboard Height

27" solid wood headboard, mortised into the posts, with an overall height of 51 1/4".

Mortise Height

Mortise height: 10" (from the floor to the bottom of the side rail)
To estimate the height of your mattress from the floor, add 1" to the mortise height, then add the combined height of your box spring and mattress.

Example: 10" mortise + 1" side rail + 6" box spring + 10" mattress = 27" mattress height.

Care & Maintenance

For routine care, dust with a feather duster or wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using furniture polishes, as they may react with the finish and change its appearance over time.
